David Cohen

Coach Cohen is an alumnus of Concord Carlisle High School where he was a standout and captain of the basketball and baseball teams. After graduating from CC, Cohen went on to captain the Boston University baseball team while earning his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters in School Counseling.
Coach Cohen's true passion has always been building and sustaining school and athletic programs for kids. Cohen has worked as a school counselor in both public and private school settings. Cohen has co-created year round sports camps, clinics, and training programs in both Cambridge and Concord while at the same time coaching varsity baseball and basketball for over 25 years. On the basketball side, Cohen began coaching at CC in 1999 as an assistant boys varsity basketball coach. Cohen then moved on to become the head varsity girls basketball coach at the Middlesex School. In 2007, Cohen returned to CC to take over the boys basketball program. Over the next 14 years as varsity boys head coach, Cohen, along with critical support from his assistant coaches, parents, and community members, oversaw the most successful run in CC boys basketball history which included 12 state tournament appearances, 4 DCL league titles, 2 state championship appearances, and Cohen being named the coach of the year by the Boston Globe in 2016. Cohen retired as boys varsity coach unexpectedly in 2022.
In the summer of 2024, Cohen returned home to take over the girls basketball program at CC. He is most excited for the opportunity again to teach life skills through basketball and is fully dedicated to the mission of the program. Cohen has great respect and admiration for the CC girls coaches that have come before him. He is grateful for this opportunity and is looking forward to partnering within the CC girls basketball community to maximize the program's potential!

Caitlyn Brennan

Coach Brennan graduated from Dedham High School, where she played soccer, basketball, and ran track. Although she was a runner in high school track, she ended up throwing in college track. Her main events were hammer (think Matilda!) and discus. Sports have been a huge part of her life. She has loved basketball since she first played in 5th grade, and she played throughout high school. She still tries to play pick up when she has time. She had the opportunity to coach basketball during the pandemic in 2020 and has been hooked ever since. Her favorite part of coaching is getting to know the individual athletes, and seeing them thrive on and off the court. coach Brennan is a middle school teacher at Concord Middle School and the CCHS varsity assistant lacrosse coach After just finishing up coaching the jv girls soccer team at CCHS this fall, she is ready and excited to transition to basketball!

Coach Ryan
Coach Ryan has extensive experience coaching youth and high school athletes. Coach Ryan spent six years at The Fenn School as an Assistant Athletic Director, coach, and teacher of science and social studies. During his tenure at Fenn, Coach Ryan also served as the varsity basketball coach leading many future high school and college basketball players. Most recently, Coach Ryan was on the coaching staff this fall for the varsity football team at CCHS. He also is currently creating and managing youth basketball programs for the Middlesex Magic. Coach Ryan impacts any endeavor with his positive energy and ability to motivate athletes to achieve their goals.
